On March 3rd, a strategic meeting orchestrated by TNE Global and the Faculty of Transnational Education at Shinawatra University paved the way for an enriching partnership with Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry and Trade (HUIT). Leading the initiative, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ratthaburut Kumsap from Shinawatra University authorized Dr. Mesith Chaimanee, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering Technology, and Dr. Sipnarong Kanchanawongpaisan, Deputy Director of the Institute of Multidisciplinary Postdoctoral Research and Franchise Program (IPF), to work with Dr. Ho Thanh Tri, Director of the International Institute at HUIT, focusing on further development of the franchise program.
Dr. Sun Jin (James), Dean of the Faculty of Transnational Education at Shinawatra University and President of TNE Global, together with Ms. Thao Tran, Associate Dean of the Faculty and Vice President of TNE Global, also participated in the discussions. Their engagement highlights the Faculty's crucial role in realizing and implementing the franchise program, facilitating international student connections and creating flexible learning opportunities tailored for Vietnamese students.
This substantial progress signifies an important milestone towards the signing of the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) between the two institutions. The expected launch of the program in the upcoming academic year aims to enhance academic collaboration and expand transnational education opportunities.
